We’d like to celebrate Mike Rowan, MDTech’s IT Manager who set out to raise $1,000 for St. Baldrick’s on behalf of a little girl he knows named Lucy. Mike had promised to shave off his long-kept beard once he reached his goal – with the help of many, he was able to meet that goal last Sunday, raising $1,033!

Statement from Mike Rowan, MDTech’s IT Manager:

I am doing this in honor of the strongest little girl I know of, little Lucy. Lucy was born 9/21/16 with mosaic trisomy 18. She has fought CHD, hepatoblastoma with a liver resection and 4 rounds of chemo. She is a warrior. I consider myself a pretty strong guy, but I have nothing on this little girl. Her story is one of true inspiration and hope and I am truly honored to be able to share her story with you and do whatever I can to help other kids like her as well as get the message out there that there is hope. There are happy endings.
