Fusion SMS Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 22, 2026
Last Updated: July 28, 2026
Millennium Digital Technologies, LLC, doing business as Millennium Digital Technologies (“MDTech”, “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates the Fusion application and the Fusion SMS messaging program. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information in connection with text messages sent through Fusion.
1. Scope
Fusion SMS is available to authorized Fusion users who provide and verify a mobile telephone number and enable SMS communications in their Fusion account settings.
This Privacy Policy applies to SMS communications sent by or on behalf of MDTech through Fusion. Fusion SMS is intended for authorized users and is not a public marketing or lead-generation program.
2. Information We Collect
In connection with Fusion SMS, we may collect and process:
- Your mobile telephone number.
- Your name, email address, Fusion account identifier, organization, role, and permissions where necessary to associate the mobile number with your authorized account.
- Your SMS preferences, alert subscriptions, and communication settings.
- Records showing when and how you enrolled in Fusion SMS, including the date and time of consent, the consent method, the version of the disclosure presented to you, and confirmation that your mobile number was verified.
- Message information, such as the type of message sent, date and time, delivery status, and replies such as STOP or HELP.
- Support requests and other communications you send to us concerning Fusion SMS.
- Technical, fraud-prevention, and security information reasonably necessary to protect Fusion accounts and administer the messaging program.
We may receive message-delivery, carrier, opt-out, and error information from our messaging service providers and participating telecommunications carriers.
3. How We Use the Information
We use this information to:
- Verify that the mobile number is associated with or controlled by the authorized Fusion user.
- Send messages that the user has requested or enabled.
- Deliver multifactor authentication codes and other account-verification messages.
- Provide account and security notifications.
- Provide service, workflow, and operational updates.
- Deliver monitoring alerts for companies, locations, or devices the user is authorized to access.
- Administer SMS settings, subscriptions, HELP requests, and opt-out requests.
- Investigate delivery problems, suspected misuse, security incidents, or fraudulent activity.
- Maintain records of consent and opt-out requests.
- Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, telecommunications-carrier, and messaging-platform requirements.
4. Types and Frequency of Messages
Fusion SMS messages are transactional or informational in nature. Messages may include:
- Multifactor authentication or verification codes.
- Account login, password, and security notifications.
- Account status or administrative notifications.
- Service and workflow updates.
- Monitoring alerts relating to authorized companies, locations, or devices.
- Responses to support, HELP, enrollment, or opt-out requests.
Message frequency varies based on account activity, security events, workflow activity, system conditions, and notification subscriptions enabled in Fusion. Message and data rates may apply under the user’s wireless service plan.
Some messages may include first-party links to relevant Fusion pages or secure-access gateways and MDTech customer-support contact information, including telephone numbers.
Fusion SMS is not used to send advertising, sales promotions, affiliate marketing, lead-generation messages, or third-party marketing.
5. Mobile Information and SMS Consent
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We do not provide this information to lead generators.
SMS consent is specific to MDTech and the Fusion SMS program. It is not transferable to another business, affiliate, campaign, or sender.
Notwithstanding any other provision of this Privacy Policy or another Company policy, mobile information and SMS opt-in data are excluded from disclosures made for advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, affiliate marketing, lead generation, or other third-party promotional purposes.
6. Limited Operational Disclosures
We may disclose mobile information only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and support Fusion SMS, including to:
- Messaging and telecommunications service providers, including Twilio and participating mobile carriers, that transmit or process messages on our behalf.
- Hosting, security, fraud-prevention, technical-support, and infrastructure providers that support Fusion.
- Your organization’s authorized Fusion administrators, where necessary to administer your account, permissions, or messaging subscriptions.
- Government authorities, regulators, courts, or other parties when disclosure is required by law or is reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the service.
These recipients may use the information only for the operational, support, security, or legal purpose for which it was disclosed. They are not authorized to use SMS opt-in information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
7. Your SMS Choices
You can manage available SMS categories or disable SMS communications through your Fusion account settings.
You may also reply STOP to a Fusion text message to opt out. We may send one final message confirming that the opt-out request was processed. After that confirmation, we will not send additional Fusion SMS messages to that mobile number unless you subsequently re-enroll.
You may reply HELP for assistance or contact us using the information below.
Disabling or opting out of SMS may prevent you from receiving SMS-based multifactor authentication codes, account and security notifications, workflow updates, or enabled monitoring alerts. Where available, you should configure an alternative authentication or notification method.
To resume Fusion SMS after opting out by reply, you must first reply START or UNSTOP to remove the messaging block. You must then re-enable SMS in your Fusion account settings and complete any required mobile-number verification and consent process. START or UNSTOP does not provide initial consent for a user who has not completed the authenticated Fusion enrollment process.
8. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Fusion SMS, provide the requested services, maintain account and security records, demonstrate consent, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal or carrier requirements.
After an opt-out or account closure, we may retain a limited suppression record, such as the mobile number and opt-out date, so that we can continue honoring the opt-out request and avoid sending unwanted messages.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Privacy Rights and Requests
Depending on your place of residence and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
To submit a privacy request, contact us at contactus@mdtusa.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before processing a request. Where your Fusion account is provided or administered by your employer or another organization, we may direct the request to that organization when it is responsible for the relevant information.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in Fusion SMS, our data practices, legal requirements, or carrier requirements. The “Last Updated” date above will identify the latest revision. We will provide additional notice where required by law.
